Manager Corporate Affairs job at private comercial bank
A large private commercial Bank in Pakistan is looking for qualified and experienced professional for the following position based in Karachi:
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Finance/Associate Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)/Cost and Management Accountant (CMA). Associate Corporate Secretary (ACIS) is an added advantage.
Experience:
5 years relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance of Banking Companies Ordinance, 1962, SBP's Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework (CGRF), Companies Act, 2017, Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2019 (CoCG) and other related regulations and circulars, etc.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of filing various regulatory returns to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of matters related to Board and Shareholders Meetings.
• Maintain close coordination with Share Registrar in order to ensure smooth functioning of share registration and transfer process (i.e.; transfer of physical share certificates, transmission of shares, withdrawal of scrip less share(s) from CDC in to physical form, issuance of duplicate share certificates and splitting of shares) and responding all queries related to shareholders.
• Supervise the processes for payment of cash dividend and issuance of bonus shares as per the regulations.
