Qualification & Experience
- Preferably Matric with a valid HTV license and 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for transporting hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, and other employees, to different locations for outreach camps or events.
- Responsible for transporting medical supplies, equipment, and other materials.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle. This includes conducting regular inspections and checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition. You would report any issues or required maintenance to the supervisor promptly.
- Comply with all traffic rules, regulations, and safety procedures while operating the vehicle. This includes driving defensively, obeying speed limits, wearing seat belts, and ensuring the vehicle is equipped with the necessary safety equipment.
- Maintain records of transportation requests, mileage logs, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur during your duty. Timely and accurate reporting is crucial.
- In emergency situations, you may be required to transport patients or staff members urgently. You would be prepared to respond promptly and efficiently, following emergency response protocols and providing support as needed.
- Must be able to complete activity logs and vehicle reports accurately.
